In July 2008 Marian Hossa turned down a 5 year, $35 million dollar contract from the Pittsburgh Penguins for a one year deal with the Detroit Red Wings saying "When I compared the two teams, I felt like I would have a little better of a chance to win the Cup in Detroit." One year later the Penguins defeated the Red Wings to win the Stanley Cup. Please send your letters to Hossa to dearmarianhossa@gmail.com and they will be posted on this site.
